Charity shop finds

On Saturday, I went out on my bike for the first time this year, it was lovely. When I go out cycling on my own what I often do is cycle to some slightly-more-out-of-the way charity shops, and this week was no exception. The official reason was to take in some of the things I’m getting rid of, but of course I ended up buying something! I just can’t resist!

I did end up feeling a little guilty, the reasons for which I will post another time, and therefore have decided that I this will have been my last purchase until May.

But before I go all negative on you guys, here’s the pretty things I did get:

charity shop finds

Clarks shoes. They are in perfect condition and so bouncy and comfortable and I can wear them to work. I very rarely find good shoes in the charity shops, so I really could not say no. And i have actually worn them a few times since Saturday.

A Phase Eight faux wrap top, again in fantastic condition. The colour is more rusty than it looks here.

I'm so envious of the Clarks find. They're so expensive new and impossible to find on ebay & elsewhere for a discount.

Ambika, Clarks usually have really good sales, like 50% as standard, with some up to 70%. I’m sure their online shop would ship to the US.

I take a really small shoe size (5 1/2 here in Åustralia) so my problem is that when I find shoes that fit me at opshoppies I buy them straight away! It only happens once every 6 months though… so not too bad.

That orange shirt looks lovely as well!

That sounds idyllic. You’re lucky to have great shops within cycling distance.

Yeah, Edinburgh is a small place! almost everything is in walking distance actually…
