It’s my 100th post already, time’s flown by! I started this blog in January as a bit of an appendage to the etsy shop, but then that never took off and I didn’t end up knitting that much, so I branched out into the various other areas I enjoy – fashion, thrifting, design, art, streetart, oher craft, music etc. It has ended up a bit of an eclectic mix, but I think it represents me and is more fun than a purely knitting-based blog.
And I have certainly enjoyed blogging! I thought it might become a bit of a chore after a while, but not so far! I love having somewhere to express what I like creatively, it has helped me be clearer about my style too. And I have absolutely loved discovering all the other ladies of the blogosphere and their brilliant minds, which I would never have done if it hadn’t been for the blog. Its been great!
To say thank you to my handful of readers know about (any any lurkers, if there are any?) I’ve decided to give away something I made. I thought a knitted thing wouldn’t me the best, given that its coming up to summer in most places, so I went for an anchor pendant and a big dino brooch I made in pottery class last year.
Both are made from thin glazed clay and are quite big (as you can see from my hand in the pics).
Here they are:
If anyone would like either (or both) of them, please leave a comment, either giving me a bit of feedback on the blog (is there anything you would like to see, something I should blog more about, something you don’t enjoy so much?) or ask me a question – if I get enough of them I might do a Q&A type post in future. Or both! I will draw a name out of the hat in 2-3 weeks.
