I’m back from Paris! we had an absolutely amazing time! It was sunny almost all the time, perfect for all the miles and miles of walking we did. And I sat next to Sofia Coppola at a bar – didn’t speak to her though, I wasn’t 100% sure it was actually her (I am now that I’ve checked her picture), and anyway, what would I say? I was just impressed to be in her close vicinity.
Anyway, I have millions of pics, so expect many many Paris based posts over the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately today my computer is playing silly buggers, so I’ve not had a chance to sort them or anything. So just some unedited and unframed pictures of some of my birthday presents for now:
A Vivien of Holloway dress from my girly friends. Big enough for a crinoline and everything!
Great minds think alike: This voucher is from Dave (he didn’t give me it til after I’d already bought the shoes) I was considering also getting the shoes that are on the voucher, but they don’t sell them any more (they had them on the website before we left for Paris, but not in the shop, and now they’re gone from there as well).
My very own copy of the knitter’s handbook (which I blogged about a while ago), plus another knitting book from Dave’s mum and a Taiwanese cookery book from Dave’s sis.
