I had time to get a little thrifting in while in Paris. We only went to one of the ‘Fripe’ shops, and stupidly on a saturday, which was a mistake as it was absolutely insanely busy! I left Dave outside, and jumped in for 10 minutes, but there were so many people you could never have tried anything on. I did get some nice accessories though, and so cheap!
a butterfly belt, 3 Euros. I really wanted one of those stretchy belts, and was actually really close to buying one for 15 quid in Accessorize recently, but how glad am I now I didn’t!
A scarf, 1 Euro. Picked almost at random out of a giant basket full of them.
A small leather bag. Its a bit knackered, but it was only 5 euros and with a bit of love and shoe polish it’ll be as good as new!
Hello! My name is Franca. This blog is a record of the good things in everyday life, my two boys and our weekend activities in and around Edinburgh and elsewhere; and my sewing, knitting and baking adventures. Also sometimes personal style photos, interiors, food, arts and design inspiration and anything I happen to be interested in at the time.
