Out of old make new

I’ve given this jacket a new lease if life by:
* dyeing it purple
* adding some orange buttons.

You like?

Here is what it looked like before. It was originally a beige jacket from h&m, which I had dyed purple 3 (?) years ago after realising that beige does NOT suit me. I then wore it lots and lots and lots, hence the faded colour. Also, one of the buttons was chipped, and anyway, their colour wasn’t great in the first place. So now I’ve got lovely little pops of orange!

    I LOVE. I would steal this right off you if you were near enough by. 😉

    The orange buttons are just perfect.

    Your jacket looks great! I think I must be doing something wrong – whenever I try to dye clothes I find that the thread never picks up the dye, which is quite annoying when I try to dye things a much darker shade 🙁 x

    red boots – the dye will only work on natural fibres, which is why the threads won't dye. they didn't on this jacket either, but I actually quite like that. It is a bit annoying to have all the beige around the zips now that the buttons are orange, mind.

    That is totally YOU all over. Orange and Purple were my fave colours when I was little (and remembering that I used to draw all my own outfits when I was 12! Never thought to make my own back then, just draw!)
