Outfit 7 August 2009

7 August 2009

me again

At a wedding anniversary party (they got married a year ago in the US, and this was the Scottish leg).

It was the first time I’d worn the dress with a crinoline. I almost didn’t wear it, I thought I was a bit massive, but am glad I did: lots and lots of people complimented me on my outfit, and it all swished when I danced, it was ace!

me:
dress – Vivien of Holloway (see a complete view without the crinoline here)
shawl – cheap scarf shop
shoes – new look

dave:
suit – vintage shop
hat – independent hatmaker shop
watch – his granddads
the rest – don’t know

More pictures from the wedding:

flowers

cupcakes

peeper

tent

You look amazing in that dress! It compliments you perfectly. 🙂 The style of that wedding party is awesome too… I love the tin cans as vases. What a great idea.
