Outfit 17 September 2009 and Berlin day three

17 September 2009 Day

Day three of Berlin trip.

This is what I wore during the day, to visit the Bauhaus and Le Corbusier exhibitions (separate post for that!) and visiting bits of the old West Berlin (its funny how I still think of it that way, even though I never went there when it was still a divided city). Halfway through the afternoon I decided that I had had enough of the tshirt dress riding up and having to pull it down all the time, so I just stuck it over the skirt in a weird layering way. I am posing in the toy department of the KaDeWe – Kaufhaus des Westens, posh department store. The bear is the animal of Berlin.

Bear and I

I the evening we had a nap, as you do on holiday, and after getting out of bed I decided that I couldn’t face putting on a skirt and tights again, so I went for slouchy boyfriend jeans and trainers. It was the night of the secret Amanda Palmer gig, but after out 10 kilometer treck in the middle of the night we were tired, the street the venue was on wasn’t on my map, and we’ve seen her recently anyway, so we just went for delicious and cheap burgers near our flat and had an early night.

Which do you prefer? Oddly, for once I think I prefer the picture taken with flash. I prefer the skirt based outfit though, I think.

I love the colors in your outfit! And for the question about flash or no flash, I think both pictures look nice – but the one taken with flash definitely shows more detail!

That bear is so big! 🙂
