Things I bought in Berlin

As I mentioned, I was on temporary release from the shopping ban while in Berlin (which was all part of the original rules, in case you think I was cheating!). I tried on many many dresses in skunkfunk, and very nearly bought a vintage red woolen coat with a red riding hood type hood (just slightly too big) and a vintage leather coat with a cinched waist (just slightly too small). So in the end I just got three much more modestly priced things:

vintage dress/tunic
A vintage dress/tunic, found by Dave. I saw it hanging there but thought it was a. too big. b. too short. Shows what I know! I am obviously bigger and shorter than I think I am.

benetton scarf
A Benetton scarf, for one euro! Its so long I have to wrap it round my neck twice to stop it touching the floor.

enamel ring
An enamel ring. I don’t think I mentioned I am obsessed with enamel, but I am. big time.

Dave and I also jointly got some stuff for the flat:

1950s bowl
A 1950s yellow and black bowl.

1930s repro radio
A reproduction 1930s radio.

A mobile from the Martin Gropius Bau museum shop.

Great buys in Berlin. The scarf is just like this season's Marc by Marc Jacobs on retailing at £160!

Love them ALL! The mobile especially … but that fantastic muffler is a close second.
