Outfit 24.10.09: Navy red and white (and a t shirt!)

24.10.09: navy red and white

A tshirt outfit! I own tons of tees, but I rarely wear them as part of my every day outfits. Instead, I wear them for exercise and can usually be found in tshirts and joggy bottoms of an evening. But on Saturday, I thought I’d make a special effort to incorporate a tshirt into something fun and interesting and not too casual. I think it worked because of the classic colour combination.

I wore this to go to a lovely local craft market, where we ended up buying two prints which I will post about later in the week.

The tshirt is from sustrans, the cycling charity. Dave’s mum bought me it at the Summer Sundae music festival in August where sustrans had a stand. I really like it, but I do wish the picture of the bike was higher and more visible, I don’t want people to think I just have a tshirt that says low maintenance lady. Which I am, probably, but its not necessarily what I want to communicate about myself.

This is our shared garden by the way, never been seen before due to lack of camera blancing space. This tripod has been my best buy ever!

vintage cardie, scarf, bag – charity shops
tshirt – sustrans, present form dave’s mum at the summer sundae music festival
fairtrade woven skirt – people tree
shoes – camper

Ooh, this outfit is adorable! You look great in that tee. I'm the same way when it comes to t-shirts; I have a ton but I rarely even incorporate them into a nice outfit. I usually just throw on an oversized tee with jeans when I don't want to think about what to wear for the day. This post is inspiring me to do otherwise!
