Due to the shopping ban, I haven’t done one of these posts for ages, but I’ve finally got round to doing my october trip to the charity shops that I’m allowed under the shopping ban rules. I got tons of stuff, so I think I’ll limit myself to just one more trip between now and Christmas (plus I’ve been shopping for the giveaway too). Anyway, on with the goods.
A vintage children’s story book, inscribed with a dedication in 1948. I love the pictures, and just the fact that it once belonged to a child that is now at least 65 years old!
The bow shoes, which I wore in my outfit post the other day. I actually got these in Glasgow, after I went through for a meeting which I was told started at 10 but actually started at 11. So I had an hour to kill in the West End, which meant I got these on work time!
This cropped purple cardie, new with some minor damage in the shoulder which i’ve now fixed. It was originally 85 pounds, which seems a bit mad, but it is lovely. The brand is sandwich, Dutch apparently, and the charity shop had loads of slightly damaged new things from them.
This vintage sewing pattern, which is what Miss Veronica Darling is getting for her giveaway runner up present. How I wish I could sew!
A red puff sleeve jumper from coast.
A stripy puff sleeve shirt
A reddy orange jumper in pristine condition. Not as neon as it looks here!
A polka dot tshirt
