Handknit coffee cup cozies (and handmade labels)

I’m doing a trade with Diana of our.city.lights for some of her wonderful photo prints (check out her etsy shop!). She asked me to knit her some coffee cup cozies. It’s not something I would ever have thought of myself, because I don’t get hot drinks in paper cups really – I make my own tea at work and only drink coffee at home or when i’m sitting down in a cafe – but how cute are they? They’re difficult enough to knit to keep me interested and they don’t use a lot of yarn, so ideal for using up leftovers. I think I’ll make a few more to put in the shop – or maybe I’ll offer it as a custom order! We’ll see!

I knitted these over the weekend, when Dave was away and I wasn’t feeling well and basically did nothing except knit, clean, cook and watch tv. Being ill turns me into a 1950s housewife! I also made some labels to use for etsy orders:

Those are so cute! I've seen some people use these, but like you I normally drink hot stuff out of regular mugs and don't need a cozy! 🙂

Your tags are really sweet as well!

Brilliant – I want one to add to my order the bright pink one. Imagine the publicity you'd get as I walked from Pret down Oxford St!
