This week Music and Style once again goes back to my musical past and Icelandic singer Björk. I used to be absolutely obsessed with her as a teenager, but while, this waned a little in terms of the music (can’t say I listened much to either the Vesperine or Medulla albums), and some of her flim-based output is a little dubious, my admiration for her style stayed strong all the way through. She’s such a fearless dresser, even if it sometimes goes wrong – although not often in my opinion – I didn’t even mind the swan dress! I completely and utterly adore all the multicoloured goodness attached to her last album Volta. She looks equally well in black and white though, and I just love looking at her features.

Happy weekend all!

She's a muse, an inspiration; such the perfect description of "cool" for me… I adore her!

Lovely post! I agree about Bjork – I was much more into her as a teenager, and when Medulla came out I just couldn't really listen to any of her new music. Hah… but I still think she's absolutely adorable!

i recommend listening to her newer albums… vespertine is amazing. medulla, weird but interesting. volta, is really awesome, with some songs of course more upbeat than others. but her musical brilliance, fashion and style all go hand in hand.
