21.11.09: wedding attire

We went to a wedding on Saturday. These pictures were taken in the flat though which is just well, since I didn’t really use my camera at the actual wedding.

Oh, and I know it’s bad form to moan about one’s body, but HOW massive are my arms? I don’t know what is going on, I only do ashtanga yoga once a week now for the winter, but still they keep getting musclier and musclier! I suppose they’re better muscly and big than flabby and big, which seems to be the alternative, but still! And it’s not as if they are actually very strong either.

me:
dress- coast
fascinator – lovely package exchange swap
shoes – schuh

Dave:
shoes – fly
everything else – kilt shop

I actually think you look absolutely gorgeous, you look fabulously slim and your upper arms look toned, not massive. Great outfit!

Love the dress! You look beautiful and so do your arms. You are a very healthy lady. I would like to do yoga.

Woman – your arms look FABULOUS! Show them off like mad because they deserve it:)

I love the dress. Here, we are not allowed to wear white to a wedding, even if it's a gorgeous dress like yours! I love the bow!

Thank you eveyone for all the positive comments!

Diana – yeah, that rule kind of exists here as well, but it seems to be accepted wisdom that its ok as long as you have another colour as well, and your dress doesn't look like a gown (which lets face it, there isn't much danger of happening!). I've always checked with the bride in advance when I've worn this dress though, and haven't worn it when I felt like I wouldn't get an honest answer of whether it was ok.
