28.11.09: custom made dress

shoes and the messy hall

Veronica Darling made this dress for me as part of her frocktober challenge. It’s so great to have something that fits me exactly! I’m completely in love with it! I couldn’t wear it until now since the neckline clashed with all my existing tops and it’s far too cold for one layer only. So on Saturday I went out and bought this roll neck and then wanted to wear the dress immediately. Apologies for the crappy photo, I left it to late for daylight pictures.

I also wore this again with a different roll neck top yesterday and my goodness, I’ve never got so many compliments on an outfit before. Go Miss Darling!

And go Franca! This truly and honestly is the most gorgeous dress imaginable. It suits you perfectly, too, you look absolutely stunning. I'd probably want to sleep in it as well… (after wearing it all day, of course, I didn't want to say it looked like a night-gown… because it definitely doesn't!). Great, great outfit!

Super cute! I love the shape – almost like an origami dress. The colors are perfect for winter too!

I love the dress and I agree, having something that fits your body is a great feeling. I bet mass produced dresses will never feel the same 🙂
