Outfit 16.01.10: Red and a black dress

16.01.10: red and black dress

16.1.10: polka dot winter coat

Lea Stein Fox brooch

From Saturday. Dave and I were going to celebrate out ten year anniversary (which was on Thursday) with a meal and cocktails, but poor Dave was struck down with a 24 hour stomach bug on Friday night/Saturday morning and therefore unable to eat or drink anything. So we just went for a walk in the Botanic Gardens and watched Alien on DVD. I had planned on wearing this dress, and decided to stick with it despite the change of plans. I just casualised it slightly.

I thought I’d also show you my new winter coat. I went to the post-Christmas sales with the intention of getting a sale one, but ended up buying this one, which wasn’t reduced at all, and isn’t really that thick, even by the standards of winter coats (which are all too thin anyway as i’m sure I’ve mentioned many a time before). But it’s so pretty.

top – I dyed it red
dress – charity shop
shoes – Clarks
brooch – gift from Dave

P.s. I’m away in London from today until Saturday, so will have to catch up on all your blogs after. Comments are unmoderated in the meantime, please be nice!
