Food photography and recipe round up

Some things I have been eating recently:

brie, mushroom and hazelnut parcels
Mushroom, brie and hazelnut parcels. Recipe here.

spiced banana and apple muffin
Spiced banana and apple muffin. It’s this recipe, just double the cinammon and add a cooking apple cut in small pieces.

thai chickpea and mangetout soup
Thai chickpea and mangetout soup. Very, very loosely based on this recipe. See also Naomi Rose’s version here.

Cous cous salad with Falafel
Cous cous salad with Falafel. No recipe I’m afraid, made this up with whatever left over veg was in the fridge.

Are you guys actually interested in recipes? I’ve just put short links in where I could to try and keep things looking tidy, but everything was tweaked by me and Dave. I’d be happy to share details by email if anyone is interested, or if you wanted I could also give full recipes in their own posts. I’m aware that this blog is already a bit jack of all trades, and I am torn between making it a bit more focused on style only, and telling you about all the things I love, which includes vegetarian food.

You can cook for me anytime, lady! I'm no chef myself, so I'm more interested in food images than recipes.

Hey there! You are one of my favorite bloggers because of the unique content of your blog: fashion, commentary, politics and food! Yum all around. I would love recipes myself (I have two separate food and fashion blogs but I am considering merging them). I sometimes link to recipes but I also make changes, and include my own experiences, which I think can be helpful to my (limited) readership.
Excuse me now as I go drool over those muffins.

Love the cous cous salad. I've been veggi since 1986 so it is always refreshing to see non meat recipes.
