I've done chocolate mousse in tiny cups before – it makes a terrific dessert! I even make mine vegan.

Mmm…. you just reminded me that I didn't really eat lunch today! The mousse is adorable in those cups.

As for chef's rings, you may be able to cheaply make a set! We did that with small pineapple cans – just take the top and bottom off with a can opener and you have a perfectly good metal ring (and a nice supply of pineapple? Any small cans will work!) We use them to bake English muffins.
