I never seem to have anything interesting to say about my outfits these days. Though this is 100% thrifted, I haven’t had that in ages!

Shirt and skirt – old ones, both dyed by me
Orange jumper, belt, shoes – charity shop
Bag – swap
Brooch – found in the street!

Can I just say OH MY GOD you all took St. Patrick’s Day very seriously yesterday! It must be this HUGE thing in America! There are plenty of Irish people in Edinburgh but St. Patrick’s Day is pretty much just a Guiness marketing opportunity. I actually went into town last night and I wouldn’t even have noticed if I hadn’t known. I gather it’s a bigger thing down in London, but still nowhere near what seems to be going on in the US. Do you really pinch people if they don’t wear green? And what’s all this St. Pattie’s business? I mean I know you guys pronounce ts as d – but surely it’s Paddy’s? Anyway, rant over!

Hahaha, it's true. The St. Pat's thing is loony.

And Franca, I love it when you wear all the primaries together. It's like a little burst of fashion joy in my day.

This color combo is totally perfect and exactly the sort of outfit that comes to mind when I think of you!~

Yay for yellow tights and I love that brooch! I can't believe you found it in the street!

What a cute little outift. You remind me of those fun afternoons in primary playing with poster paint and primary colours. You have really chirped up my day!

Oh yes, St Patrick's Day is pretty huge here. Especially here in Chicago. There were signs everywhere about being Chi-rish. And not only did people celebrate last night, but last Saturday there were two parades, scavenger hunts, and they dyed the Chicago river bright green. Look it up, the pictures are crazy.
I just took it as an excuse to wear my amazing green dress coat.

I love this outfit so much! Especially the tights, but maybe that's just because I want some yellow tights myself 🙂

First – I love your outfit and the color combination.

Second – YES – St. Patty's Day is HUGE here. My town takes pride in having the first parade of the season (it was March 6th this year). Then there are races in the city (the St. Patrick's Day 8k), then there is the big Shamrock Fest over the weekend – bands and beer. Last night when I was running by the bars – HUGE lines… like over a block long.

People pinch and green is a must. 🙂
