This is both day 7 of ‘ bag challenge and part of the ‘help me get dressed’ project. Blog theme crossover! This was styled by Millie of Interrobangs, and the handmade bag was a recent Christmas present from Dave’s mum. I can’t remember the name of the crafter unfortunately, or I would have linked to her shop.
dress – swap
cardie shrug thing – charity shop
scarf – cheap scarf shop
shoes – converse
bag – gift
This is day 8 (and the final day) of the bag thing, and was styled by Claudinette of Moi peux-tu venir? who is Clodo on flickr and blogs in French, which I do speak pretty well, though I don’t really understand the blog name. Can you come me? Hmmm. Anyway, this looks super cute, but is a shorter skirt than I am really comfortable with, and I just wore it to go grocery shopping and was glad I didn’t have to sit down. Later in the day when I went out again I put some skinny jeans on underneath and that worked too.
The bag was a gift from my mum, she got it from a Janosch exhibition. Here’s an old post which explains Janosch and the tiger duck and stuff.
tunic/dress – people tree
cardie – charity shop
belt – came with a skirt
fox brooch – gift from Dave
bag – gift from my mum
shoes – new look.
Thanks to both my latest stylists! If anyone feels like styling an outfit for me, the original post explaining the project is here, I’d love more suggestions and I promise I’ll wear it!
p.s. apologies for people that follow me via a reader, I accidentally posted this yesterday, but then changed it to schedule it for today. I like to post every day, and I didn’t want to steal yesterday’s posts thunder.
