Since I’ve been getting into taking pictures more often, I’ve ended up so behind on my outfit posts. I do want this blog to cover things other than what I wore, which is why this always happens. I guess I could do more than one post a day, would people prefer that? For now though, I’m combining several outfits into one post, and in a non chronological way as well!
This was my easter Sunday outfit, wearing my newly thrifted vintage skirt. It’s actually way bigger and longer than I thought (I had to try it on over jeans due to lack of changing rooms, so it seemed tighter and shorter). Something will need to be done with it, but i don’t know what yet. I don’t want to just shorten it because it does sit so ridiculously low on the waist. Plus I love the pattern on the fabric, and it would be cool to see as much of it as possible. A couple of people on flickr said I should leave it as it is, but that length isn’t very flattering is it? Particularly with flat shoes.
vintage skirt – charity shop
shoes – topshop
scarf worn as belt – free with a magazine
earrings – I made them
This one is from Saturday, worn for my first proper bike ride of the year. I was expecting to be much more knackered than I was, I’m obviously not quite as unfit as I thought!
It’s 100% thrifted:
shirt – surf themed vintage shop in williamsburg
cords and shoes – charity shops
