Day four in Barcelona was my birthday! I have MILLIONS of pictures from that day, so I do apologise for the length and girth of this post!
What I wore:
top , bag, shoes – charity shop
skirt and sunnies – h&m
jacket I’m holding – promod
badge – it’s Dave’s, I gave him it for his birthday, actually! It’s from a very hungry caterpillar set.
This is what I wore in the morning, but then I quickly decided that I really don’t like that dress, too many frills, it makes my boobs look funny, and is see through (hence the skirt underneath) so I changed. It’s now made its way back to the charity shop.
dress – charity shop
skirt under – h&m
bag – I dyed it
shoes – clarks
We dedicated the days sightseeing to Antonio Gaudi. This is La Pedrera (Casa Milla) which has an amazing roof terrace.
Sagrada Familia. It really has come on heaps and bounds since I saw it back in 1998 or whenever it was.
Casa Vincens. This is a private house, so you can’t visit it, and noone was paying it the slightest bit of attention, but it’s great!
In the evening, we were gonna go to this cocktail bar we had been to on the second night for food, but because it was Monday, it was closed (Spain appears to be shutting down on Mondays), so we went to this tapas place, Bar Mut, which we chose simply because it was close to our apartment. And it turned out to be AMAZING. High end, Michelin style food. Delicious!
