Remember when you were little and really random things were treasure, like twigs and pebbles? Well, I found one of my ‘treasure boxes’ while rummaging around at home, and I thought I’d document it before the colours fade completely and it gets even more scratched.
It’s a cigarette box and it contains:
* 1 picture of two girls in the sunrise – I’m assuming it was meant to be my sister and I
* 1 matchstick dipped in wax repeatedly
* 4 dried flowers
* 1 plastic key
* 1 piece of paper with the alphabet written out, to be used for writing things in substitution code. The thing written on the back tells you how to work the code, Remmi ned nethcean Ebatshcub – Immer den naechsten Buchstabe(n) – Always the next letter. Hehe!
Do you remember any ‘treasure’ from your childhood?
