Outfit 4.9.10: The dig for victory dress at a wedding

4.9.10: dig for victory dress and black

And another wedding! This is what happens when you’re in your late 20s. This one was a friend from university, and the venue a lovely country mansion estate place in Yorkshire. On the same weekend that ours will be next year! I’ll post pictures of the setting and the lovely bride and groom next week, but first, lets get my outfit out of the way!

I wore the dig for victory dress I had previously had some issues with. Partly they have been resolved. I got some fashion tape and stuck the dress to my shoulders, which prevented the off the shoulder milkmaid neckline that happened before. So that was good. Unfortunately though some other things were not so good. I took the wrong strapless bra, and the one I took had more padding and combined with the fact that I’ve put on some weight, meant that things were very very tight around the top and I couldn’t completely lift my arms. Not so good for ceilidh dancing! Still though, I looked nice! Suffer for fashion and all that. teaches me to plan better next time and not just chuck everything into the bag at the last minute!

he's a very silly man

Dave wore a suit, and not his kilt, it being an English wedding. He still looked delicious though! Is it acceptable to publicly describe one’s future husband as delicious? If not, I meant handsome!

I do apologise for the squillion pictures!

I am very glad to see that you wore flat shoes. High heels are a killer at weddings.

What a lovely pattern on that dress! Fashion tape is a life-saver! Also, it's so nice to hear that you guys are getting married! I love being married to a DELICIOUS man 🙂 You can say whatever you want (given that it's good) about your to-be husband. It's perfectly justified by the bliss of a happy relationship!
