In a completely un-seasonally appropriate move, I got a new swimsuit the other day. I’m going to Centre Parks in November, and my one and only suit is from about 1997 (when I was 16!), and not only is it worn out its also way too small. I do have a couple of bikinis, but I didn’t really fancy wearing them, and so I decided I was gonna get something new and it would be retro in style.
The polka dot one at the top is what I got. Isn’t it lovely? It’s from For Luna, and was £59.50. £60! A scary amount of money for a swimsuit, particularly as we are meant to be saving for the wedding/impending unemployment, but it’s so pretty! And if it lasts me another 13 years like the last one, it’ll be money well spent.
For your visual delectation, and in case anyone else is considering buying swimwear in the middle of autumn, here are some other options I was looking at.
Sailor style, from What Katie Did £64.
An adorable handmade one from ReVamp via Get Go Retro, $150.
Hawain style, also Get Go Retro, $99.
Which one do you like best?
