Pulp! Reuniting! Woo! And a common people cartoon from 1996!

I’ve had a super busy week this week, and am away in the Lake District this weekend, so no Friend Friday today.

But there’s news which is very exciting to me and probably noone else: Pulp are reuniting to play Hyde Park in July next year! When we went down to see Blur in 2009 I said that the only way I could have been more excited was if it was Pulp. And now it is!

To celabrate, here’s some pictures of a Jamie Hewlett designed cartoon that came with a Common People single. Via here.

Also, I had a guest post on Sugar and Spice yesterday, showcasing my style icon Paloma Faith.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

We were at that Blur concert too! I realize there were thousands of other people there, but it is a bit remarkable considering I live in Minneapolis, MN, USA. Pics here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mavenhaven/sets/72157621598028882/

Oh shoot, now that I look at it, we were actually there the day before you. I'd forgotten they did two shows.

I envy you your Lake District trip. We were there in September and think about it all the time.

Eeeek! I love Pulp. They were part of the reason why I (successfully!) applied to university in Sheffield. After Different Class came out I had to buy myself a pencil skirt. Haha!
