These photos were taken in Trier, the closest German city to Luxembourg where we always go shopping. It has a lovely market square where they always have a Christmas market. It’s Germany’s oldest city, founded 16 BC says Wikipedia,and has lots of Roman bits and pieces (none of which are in the pictures though!

    Gorgeous photos. The black and white seems to take them to a whole new level. And, I can't get over all the varied architecture. It must be such a wonderful city to stroll through.
