Capsule Wardrobe Challenge day 3

brooch

More Capsule Wardrobe Challenge fun!

What I didn’t like so much about this outfit was the way the boots and skirt meet. I was wearing some white tights to pick up on the white of the brooch, but you can’t seem them at all! Very disappointing!

skirt – people tree

brooch – gift

Shoes

The fact that the boots obscured my beloved tights helped push me along in my decision to make a substitution, swapping the only accessory I hadn’t yet worn, the purple scarf, for my new shoes. When Dave’s mum was up last weekend, they had gone shopping and dave had spotted these El Naturalista shoes in a late sale, and thought I would like them. And then on Tuesday I went and had a look myself and he was right! He’s like a personal shopper. The shoes are amazing, so comfy! I’m definitely moving towards El Naturalista as my favourite splurgy shoe brand.

Both outfits look pretty cool to me anyway! The white stripes in the skirt are picking up the white in the brooch, too… (it may help that I'm doubtful about white tights in general). Outfit 2's shoes look very comfy!

I get upset when my neutral spots don't show too 🙂 You look great – I've always liked the top skirt on you but the bottom one is lovely too 🙂 Love seeing it paired with all the red

Gorgeous, gorgeous shoes! And I love the brooch, I have just made something similar myself, I'll let you know when I blog about it!

I love you in blue and in red outfits. That polkadot skirt is a true wonder in your wardrobe.
    Fantastic, Franca.

Oh, there's that awesome bag again! I tend to shy away from navy blue, I'm always afraid of how conservative I'm going to look wearing it. But then you come along and make it look stylish and vibrant. I might have to re-think my assumption now! Lovely:)

You look so pretty in that blue and I love the pin-striping on the skirt

Those are some awesome-looking Mary Janes – I love them! I love how much color you use in your outfits. You're inspiring me to try more monochromatic looks 🙂

Oh you look fantastic!! (as always)
I love the blue and white combination … and that red in the second outfit is so very vibrant … lovely!! 🙂
You've inspired me to go and do some online browsing at People Tree … 🙂

That little brooch is lovely! I like the detailing on your new shoes. They look really comfortable, too.

They are! I do have another outfit with the white tights visible now, and I
    like it!

It's great isn't it. Those new people tree things have been a good buy!
