So, my new people tree stuff arrived!

Obviously this really isn’t what i usually show you on this blog – where is the colour? And i do intend to style my new dress it in more colourful ways soon (on saturday, actually!), but for the first time, i wanted to just show it on its own. i am not 100% sure about it. On the model, it looked almost tulipy in shape, but on me it is *tight* around the hips. I almost sent it back, but it was daves fave thing of the four things I got(he obviously doesn’t mind tightness around the bum!), and it is officey, which means i’ll wear it loads.

In other news, if you follow me on twitter you may have seen that the saga of my rsi is still ongoing. i was off work on monday to rest and get started on my first ou economics assignment, and on tuesday, the pain was almost completely gone. I typed for a couple of hours with both hands, and that plunged my right back into it on wednesday. it’s much the same now. it is so hard to not to use my hand though!

dress- people tree
shoes – clarks
brooch – charity shop
earrings – dave’s mum made them

Lovely dress, and well styled! You can see it's a quality item in the close-up of the fabric. (I love fabric that's woven from differently colored yarns and where the result is yet a third color 🙂 ) Get well soon!

    Cheers,
    poet

For what it's worth, it doesn't look tight around the bum! Fitted yes, but not tight. It's such a beautiful color– can't wait to see how you pair it.

    Hope you're feeling well soon!

That dress is FANTASTIC on you and doesn't look too tight at all. I love how you layered it.

I'm so sorry your pain is back. I really hope you feel better soon!

It's not unwearable, but its tighter than I would like for ease of movement!
You all have actually confirmed that it was the right thing to keep it tho!
