Long term readers may remember I used to do a series called charity shop finds when I used to go thrifting all the time. I eventually stopped when my wardrobe got very full and I realised more clothes were not a good idea, even cheap ones for charity, so my visits to charity shops were few and far between. But I did get a few things in the last couple of weeks, so I thought I’d briefly resurrect charity shop finds from the dead.
Here’s what I got. Sorry pictures are the faded retro look – I went for pretty over accurate colours. You’ll see the things in action soon enough, I hope!
* a floral dress/tunic thing, originally from Oasis. There’s a couple of buttons missing near the bottom, but I reckon I can find some matching ones or replace them all.
* a beaded bangle and a wee vase, both bright yellow – may favourite colour.
* A polka dot skirt, originally from H&M. I’ve worn it quite a few times already, and have a special themed post coming up!
* a navy pussy bow blouse, originally jcrew. this is the first time I’ve ever seen a jcrew item in a charity shop (jcrew don’t deliver to the UK). It’s a lovely item, a silk cotton mix (a little see through, but that’s ok, I wear vests under everything anyway), but it’s vanity sizing in action! I am usually/almost always a UK size 12 round the top. This is a UK8/US4 and it fits me perfectly. Seriously.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
