Today is a double meme/blog event day! That means three in a week (IFB project on Tuesday!).

First off, this is for the Paperdoll Project and so today’s outfit is styled by my partner Randi of Not Just Mum. I picked the skirt for her to style around and I’m very excited that she’s gone for lovely brightness and an unusual colour combo. Thanks R! Head over to her blog for a wee look at the outfit I picked for her.

The second blog event today is Everybody, Everywear, where it’s a special Thursday edition on the theme of thrifting. As most of you will know, I’m an avid charity shopper, so I had an ample array of things to choose from. I really should have done a 100% thrifted look, but that was just a step too far for the Paperdoll thing. Another time, maybe.

Also today I wanted to show you the rucksack I have been wearing when I’ve had loads to carry, or as in this case when I’ve been cycling. It was made by my lovely husband to be (just six weeks to our wedding now!). I had this vague notion that I was going to bring back rucksacks, it just seems a shame that most are so functional and sporty, and if they became fashionable then there would be more choice. That hasn’t quite happened obviously, but this one works for me, even if it is a little on the large side for my short frame.

There’s a similar one in Dave’s etsy shop My Cloud Designs by the way, but slighly smaller and as a shoulder bag and not a rucksack, plus loads of lovely and exciting purses and bags. Have a look if you fancy, and maybe someone wants to give Dave his first etsy sale?

This is me for this week, I feel I’ve been overdoing it a bit with the daily posting! I want to spend a bit more time checking out blogs and commenting this weekend, though my number one priority is to get economics assignment number 5 out of the way! Wish me luck! And have a great weekend!

I love how your incorporated both events today. Sorry EBEW messed up the paperdoll project, but I think you did a wonderful job of using your thrifted item.

Not at all, it was no harder to roll the two into one than to do either one
    of them! And thank you!

I know the joke's old, but I got a giggle at the close up of the "FCUK" on your glasses!

Completely unusual color combination, but I'm rather liking it.  Especially the plum with the olive and bright yellow.  I'm going to have to poke around and see if I can recreate something like this.

Good luck with the assignment!  I'm admiring the khaki jacket and thinking I should not have parted with the grey one I had like it.

That two-toned top is really great. If you're into thrifting, you should consider submitting something to my 'Thursdays are for Thrifters' link up, which I host each thursday on my blog!
