Hen night karaoke!

karaoke!

I was away to Brighton last weekend for my hen*. On the Friday we went for karaoke in a private room. It was the best fun ever! I love how as soon as we got into the room, everyone started jumping around like hyperactive children and shouting along and it did not matter at all that no one can sing! The photos accurately reflect the drunken fuzzy atmosphere I think.

The worst sounding thing was when we did Shakespeare’s Sisters ‘Stay’. It sounded like cats being strangled in the high bits, I don’t know what posessed us to try, that is so HARD! Good song though!

Proper Brighton photos coming tomorrow!

* Hen night is the British name for bachelorette party.

That looks like such a brilliant night! So much fun and with fabulous friends – what more can you want? I loooove the song Stay and I'm pretty sure if I ever sing it on Kareoke I will >murder< it too :p

I love karaoke, we took my best friend to one for her hen party and it was so much fun 🙂 it looks like you had a great time!

OMG, your wedding is so close now! Congrats on an AWESOME sounding hen's night! I'd have loved to sing the (rather downer) song Wuthering Heights by Kate Bush for you! But I'd have lots of extravagant dance moves to cheer it up!

We tried that when we went to karaoke a few months before, its hard too! Hounds of love is more manageable!

Brilliant! That's one tough song to sing. x

"hen night." I'll keep that in mind.  My daughter's bachelorette weekend is coming up soon.  We have a bridal shower this weekend.
