It’s been really warm off and on these last few weeks. Not warm by the standards of Midwest and California based bloggers probably, but in the way of what we’re used to up here, lovely! I’ve finally had some tights-free days! And I can wear my summer dresses the way they are meant to be worn, not over long sleeved tops and jeans as usual.
And I’ve got a tan, not that you can see it in these photos. I look so pasty, and I’m not really pasty in real life even in the depths of winter – one of the benefits of middle European skin. Although it seems to have britified itself recently, and I actually got mild sunburn on my shoulders despite sunblock – I used to never burn! Anyway, with the photos I just haven’t figured out the white balance on this camera yet. These photos were taken in the shade, so I probably should have set in on ‘cloudy’ not ‘daylight’ setting, but still, it shouldn’t come out as blue as this. What you see is actually potatoshopped quite a bit to remove the blue tint, although it would have been too much effort to get the colours to be properly true, so pasty looking it is.
