Capsule Wardrobe Challenge Day 3

And we’re onto Day three of the Capsule Wardrobe Challenge.

Today’s location is the shows North Bridge in the background, not that you can really see it. I’m not sure I like the backlit effect. I know some bloggers swear by it, but mainly I just think it just makes my hair look even more wispy than it already does.

I love today’s outfit though, it’s all so lovely and coordinated, and the beads pick up the pattern of the skirt. One of my colleagues said to me I was channeling Birgitte in Borgen. She just meant because of the shirt buttoned all the way to the top, which she wears at the end of the series, other than that there is really no similarity. And I realise that is the most ludicrously middle class fashion reference!

Outfit stats:
* skirt – handmade by my ever lovely husband * shirt – people tress * necklace –
charity shop * shoes – gift *

And just a final reminder about my flower brooch giveaway. I will draw a name out of the hat on Friday.

A lovely outfit. I really love the skirt. You are so lucky to have such a talented husband I like the backlit effect although it can sometimes make it more difficult to see the details

Love buttoning my blouse to the top and adding a statement necklace so of course I adore this outfit. Plus I like the polka dots on your skirt and the cognac colored booties!

This is my favorite look so far…but then the skirt was my fav to start with! Love the color of the blouse and the tights and how the beads mimic the shapes in the skirt.
