Day five of the Capsule Wardrobe challenge. Since it was Friday, I couldn’t resist putting in something more ‘me’ and unusual. I really like the pattern mixing here and I actually wore this minus that scarf out to bars in the evening too. Though that was more lazyness, it’s not the most ideal outfit when it’s hot and everyone else is wearing fancy dresses. But as a Friday work outfit I’m pleased with it.
Today’s scenery is this park, which I thought was right next to our office but is actually a fair walk. It’s also much less landscaped than I remembered. On the plus side, you get this view of the Parliament
Outfit stats:
* top – vintage scarf * scarf – swap * skirt – handmade by Dave * shoes – clarks * bag – tula *

I love this mix of bright patterns!
I like the pattern mixing! I loved doing this short challenge…and realized more than few things about my own unwritten rules.

I’m pleased with it too. Nothing lifts a day like some fierce and vibrant pattern mixing!

Oh, be still my heart… so many patterns playing so well together. The print on that skirt is making me INSANE. Do you have a close-up of it somewhere?
