Homemade laptop sleeve

Dave made me a laptop sleeve for my new mac! I was looking on etsy, but didn’t see anything I liked enough from British sellers (avoiding ordering from the US after ending up with a customs fee after ordering something recently). Is it just me, or is etsy just not as good these days? Not enough properly handmade stuff and everything is so expensive.

Anyway, I asked Dave instead. I gave him free reign, and I love what he’s come up with! There’s a detachable pouch for all the cables and plugs too! The fabric is some cord from a pair of trousers I had, and the wool I swapped at the sewing blogger meet. Nice, innit?

If you’d like one, please get in touch! £20 or £25 with the side pouch.

What a great job. I don’t own a laptop but I’d be wanting one if I did. x

Die Seitentasche ist genial! Leider habe ich bereits eine Neopren-Hülle, die ich angesichts meines Ungeschicks mit diversen Flüssigkeiten vermutlich nicht ersetzen sollte.

Lovely design for a laptop sleeve – I’m getting bored with my dell one but it is practical as it’s a perfect fit for my laptop. I’m a real newcomer to Folksy and Etsy shopping – actually made my first purchase on Folksy this evening, a really pretty cream cotton tote with prints on of bicycles all in different colours. It was only £5 and £1 shipping so I’m really excited for it to arrive now! I’ve seen some gorgeous things on Etsy today but I don’t fancy paying the shipping form the US for some things so I think I’ll just stay away from the temptation of it for the time being!
