Red and yellow and green

red yellow and green
red yellow and green
handmade flower brooches
red yellow and green
el naturalista shoes

This is almost a complete recreation (different) of the outfit I wore for the Crafter’s Ceilidh blogger meet up (you may remember I didn’t get a proper picture), worn to go to a friend’s for cake, still in Edinburgh.

I really love this outfit! I think it is completely representative of my style: bright blocky colours, handmade details, colour matching between elements of the outfit, layering, a silhouette with a full skirt and a fitted waist, an ethical brand, on the casual side of dressed up. This is me, basically!

**** Tuesday update: I just discovered that this month’s EBEW is green! i think there’s enough green here to merit me submitting it, do you not think? It pays to have lots of colours in outfits to always be prepared for all eventualities!

Green: Everybody, Everywear

Outfit stats: * dress – people tree * top under – uniqlo * cowl – I made it * brooches – I made them * shoes – el naturalista * coat – boring old h&m * bag – the leather store on etsy *

Look at all the amazing things my friend baked for her get together:

lemon cupcakes
Lemon cupcakes

chocolate and rasberry tart
Chocolate and raspberry tart

destroyed cheesecake
Cheesecake, which collapsed and was served broken up in ramekins – still tasty!

Sorry I’m not feeling so wordy today!
