Pastels and dinosaurs

For once it what seems forever I put together an outfit specifically to take part in Everybody, Everywear – I am never usually organised enough and always end up submitting something I had anyway that sort of fits. Anyway, the theme this month is pastels, and this is the most pastelly thing I could manage with my limited Brussels wardrobe.

Dave has been here to visit for the long Easter Weekend, and I have a multitude of photos to share over the next couple of weeks! Much much eating, drinking, walking and sleeping took place, like any good holiday. It’s been funny being the tour guide for him, when I myself still don’t really know what’s going on. Though every day I know a little more!

These pictures were taken outside the natural history museum near the European Parliament. I walked round these once by mistake after getting slightly lost, and I’m pleased I did, I love the murals! There’s one in the same style in the centre (on just a private building I’m fairly certain), and I’d assumed it was streetart, but obviously they’re ‘official’. I think they look like they’re done on paper, but it’s actually paint.

Great outfit! A good neutral shift dress is so versatile.

As someone who works in policy for government I’m curious about what your job is in Brussels. =)

You look lovely Franca and it’s nice to see somehow who hasn’t completely overdone the pastel look! I LOVE these murals – I wish we had more in Britain that were official and weren’t street art cause councils always make people serving community service scrub off what they deem ‘graffiti’ even if it’s great.
