Primary colours again and again

primary colours, again and again

Well, I spectacularly failed with my prediction that I might have had more time this week in the run up to moving back to Edinburgh. I might have been slowing down at work but somehow I still didn’t find the time for reading blogs, let alone commenting. well, such is life!

This is the replacement of that cardigan that went into holes. I’m pleased to report the new one is fine, though I’ve also been super careful putting it on to not pull it too much. It is a bit silly really, fabric should be able to withstand some tuggage! But anyway, I’m glad it’s ok and I can keep it.

And also, I have no idea why I am persisting with the sideways pictures. They’re meant to show the bump growing, but they don’t, because it doesn’t. Not in a perceptible way anyway, though oddly enough it’s getting harder to walk and do up my shoelaces, so something must be happening. I know I shouldn’t complain and I’ll be huge and shiplike soon enough, but it would just be nice to see some ‘progress’, you know? I had sort of hoped I might be able to make a lo fi version of this thing my sis sent me (it’s from here):

But I guess that’s not going to happen, I seem to be growing in spurts with nothing at all in between!

Outfit stats:
* dress – Spitalfields market * cardigan – posh Brussles maternity shop * brooch – gift * shoes – clarks *

    I just love the colour of the cardigan! A lot of times mustard-y colours look muted, but this one just pops. The dress is cute, too! You look radiant, and as for the sideways pictures – I bet when you look back on the photos later on, you’ll be able to see the “progress” just fine. Your progress, even if it happens in spurts, is yours alone (well, yours and your husband’s and your baby’s) and it’s special just the way it is! 🙂

    What week are you? It seems to me that not much was visible in my pregnancies until week 14 or so, and then really visible along about the 4-5 month mark. And since this is a first pregnancy, it may be slower to, uh, “blossom.”

    Congrats! A good cry is ok from time to time and don’t underestimate the emotions that the Olympics can provoke haha. I didn’t really “show” until a good 5 months but now I;m big. I felt “pregnant” immediately though.
