This is the outfit that goes with the glasses picture from Monday. It’s what i wore on my first day back in Scotland. I’m wearing the clogs I bought myself for my birthday, and my new maternity jeans. They took a bit of getting used to, because the jeansy bit on them is so low, below the line of my pants*, so for a while I felt like I was flashing. But I soon got used to it. They are super comfy, they feel more like leggings really, they are so stretchy.
Since this is kind of a red white and blue outfit, and everything except the jeans and shoes is from the charity shop, I am using this as my contribution for the ethical fashion bloggers challenge where the theme is olympics. To be honest, GB is only my second choice, really I’m supporting Germany, but I do love the way Britain is wiping the floor and holding its own against countries more than 22 (China) and 6 (USA) times it’s population, so I feel I can claim the colours.
The brooches were a gift from a girl in my stitch and bitch group in Brussels, she gave me both a boy and a girl one because I didn’t know if it was a boy or a girl at the time.
