I know these pictures aren’t great quality, but I just wanted to take advantage of having an (almost) plain wall to pose against. I think I mentioned we are about to put our flat on the market, and here we’d cleared the bedroom of furniture to get the carpets cleaned. They needed it!

Can I just point out how ridiculously much work getting a flat ready to sell is? I had a whole week off work after getting back from Belgium (during which this picture was taken), which I pretty much just spent cleaning, packing and painting (and doing baby related medical stuff), and after that it still took two whole weekends, almost two weeks worth of evenings and a 35 square foot storage room to get it ready for the photos. I really hope it’ll be worth it and someone will buy it by October, and we don’t have to do it all again in the spring.

Outfit stats:
* dress – charity shop * cardie – from Mrs. Bossa * belt – charity shop * clogs – torpatoffeln * brooch – won in a giveaway at materialised * bag – charity shop *

Really love this outfit Franca! Great to see the brooch being accessorized with such style! Best of luck with selling your flat…It’s a great place so I’m sure it won’t take too long to find a buyer 🙂

It’s funny that you have to empty your flat to sell it, one of the things that helped me realise that our new home (the first we’ve owned) would be a good fit was seeing how much stuff the previous owners had in here, without the stuff overwhelming the place/ the feeling of space. I find an empty/emptier space much harder to imagine living in.
    Your outfit is absolutely fab.

You don’t have to empty your flat! We just moved all the furniture out so the carpets could be cleaned. it’s all back now, minus some chairs that we were given as a wedding present but don’t actually fit. You just have to make your house look like a showhome, all decluttered, so we took boxes full of crap that were piled on top of out wardrobes etc into storage.

EEP – you sound busy! Good that you’re back together in the one place and great that you have some plans with the flat … perfect time to sell with the nicer weather etc in summer right?

I love LOVE this colourfully frisky outfit!

Ugh,G and I plan never to sell our house; we loathe moving…….mind you,it’s a great way to find lost things!!! Fingers crossed for a quick sale! X

I wish we didn’t have to move, but a one bedroom place with a baby is not ideal! I hated every minute of the cleaning and tidying, but I do think it’s to do a complete clean every now and then!
