From our last day in New York – DeKalb market, a craft market in shipping containers. These photos were taken with the Holga lens, the first time I’ve managed to get proper vignetting with it. I think it must have been because it was a properly sunny day!

Very cool and colorful pictures!!! When you picked up on University Tower, I was curious where that was, and what that was about, so I looked it up online – apparently that Tower is considered in an up and coming neighborhood, and for people to buy into that are of modest means for NYC living. Here’s what I found: “University Towers is a three-building, 549-unit cooperative housing complex on the Fort Greene-Downtown Brooklyn border. Built as rental housing in the late ’50s for Long Island University faculty and staff, the group of buildings was converted to a moderate-income cooperative in 1989. T here’s a, 1,100-square-foot two-bedroom for sale for $530,000.”

Beautiful photos, love all the color. Only in NYC would a $530,000 apartment be for “moderate income”. Give me a break

Love these pix, the colours are wonderful and the market looks like a great place to be! Hurrah for a sunny day! We have a container mall, due to the earthquake, but it’s flasher and not as funky as this! Needs must rather than art, I suppose!
