This dress is a funny one: on the one hand I really like it, and with all the colours it goes with pretty much anything, but I don’t wear it very often. The tight bit is not actually round the waist, so it’s not usually very flattering, and somehow the neckline doesn’t work with anything underneath, and it’s never really warm enough to wear it on its own.

Still, in New York it was definitely warm enough and the high waistline is perfect for bumpage (although it’s now visibly shorter at the front than back, which I didn’t notice at the time). I’m not quite sure what is going on with my hair, I think this must have been one of the days when it had been raining and my hair went mental frizzly, so I stuck it down with water and frizz ease and now it looks greasy. Oh well! Frizz is not a problem I usually have to contend with a huge amount (being quite tolerant to a little bit helps), but in New York my hair just went mad! I even took my straighteners, but straightening only worked for about half an hour, then it was back to unruly messiness. Hence my hair is up in all the pictures!

I love the dress. Sometimes it is the water that makes your hair go frizzy. Iknow when I go to Spain I can’t do anythign with my hair.
