I hadn’t planned on taking photos of this, and has just sort of thrown on anything that was already worn, but then it turned out to have a pleasing sort of nineties feel to it, and it was a rare sunny and windless day so I took my chance to take some tripod pictures.

The skirt is part of a bundle of maternity clothes I got for 20 quid off gumtree (like craigslist, non-UKers). I hadn’t seen any pictures before I got it, I just knew that there would be dresses and tops in there, but not what kind. The person selling the stuff must have been pregnant in the summer because all the dresses were short sleeved and the tops are pretty summery too. Still though, helped me out a lot. One of the dresses and two of the tops are nursing as well, so at least I’ve got something to get me started on that front.

The boots I got at the very end of last winter in the clarks online sale. They only had narrow fit left, which turned out to be a bit of a mistake since I am chunky of leg. Especially now! They took ages to wear in and gave me the most horrible blisters. I think they should be ok now, but I’ve actually only worn them with wooly socks for protection. I may have to brave them with normal socks soon.

Outfit stats:
* tunic/dress – mango * skirt – gumtree * boots – clarks * scarf – swap * coat – Dave made * bag – Dave made

    Wow, you are looking amazing! That scarf is fantastic, and that jacket is such a great colour. You look really cosy. And I cannot get over how pregnant you look now, you’ve definitely got that crazy pregnant glow xo

    The boots are really nice – they do give the outfit a grungey 90s feel, I really like it.

    Oh that is great that you are thrifting your pregnancy outfits!!! And I have a tip for those boots! Heat them up with a blow dryer and then wear them with your chunkiest socks around your home, they’ll be broken in in no time!

    I wish we had something similar to Craig’s list or gumtree – it makes all the sense in the world not to spend that much on clothes that you will only wear for very few months. Quite smart and i totally get the 90’s vibe here.
