I wore this to a 30th birthday party. I only found out the morning of the party that the theme was ‘vintage’. Usually I would have plenty to choose from, but since almost all of my vintage dresses are either fitted around the waist or straight up and down, I pretty much had to go for this dress, which is the only vintage one that still fits me. I wore it for our own 30 birthday party with the OAP theme, but it also works as a non-fancy-dress dress (e.g. here and here) and with the pleats and high waist it’s perfect as a maternity dress and I’ve worn it loads since I’ve gone big. I vintagified the outfit with the hair and make up. I’m so pleased I managed to do something approaching victory rolls at short notice!
