Week 34 and ever expanding! I’m getting bigger by the day now it seems. About a week ago I’ve stopped fitting into non maternity tights, and one of my two pairs of maternity trousers is dangerously tight now as well. And I went to try on some boots the other day and couldn’t get a single pair zipped up. It seems ludicrous now that I was worried about not gaining weight at the start!

I’ve also had to alter my route to work. Usually I walk over a hill (Calton Hill) through a parky bit, but it was getting to ridiculous how out of breath I was getting, and how long it takes me to get to the top, that I decided to give up and walk the slightly longer, but flatter route along the roads. I am so ready now! Less than three weeks of work left, and six weeks til the due date.

Anyway, enough of the eternal moaning about pregnancy. The photos, fittingly, were taken on Calton Hill, though just the lower reaches. It’s nice to take pictures in interesting locations, and to have them taken by Dave. When I take them with the tripod they never turn out as good.

The top I’m wearing is new, it’s part of the orla keily for uniqlo collection. Which I’ve totally been tempted by because of all the bloggers I’ve seen wearing their dresses. I decided to go for this apples and pears top, a stem leaf top and a blouse, because go knows I have enough dresses. I really like the way the pattern expands over my bump! It also turns out that Uniqlo has great men’s stuff, they actually have colours, and not just navy/brown/grey tedium like everywhere else. So Dave got a few things, including a yellow coat and this green fleece. Nice, int’it?

Boots | Everybody, Everywear

It turns out the everybody everywear challenge this month is boots. I know these are not really boot boots, but since my calves are too wide for those for the time being, these booties will have to do for my submission!

Outfit stats:
* top – uniqlo x orla keily * skirt – jojo maman bebe * boots – office, birthday gift * scarflette – I made it * embroidered bag – charity shop *

Oh Franca, you’re looking so gorgeous! Not long now! ;)

I have heard the Uniqlo shop is coming to Australia, so thanks for that Orla tip! I shopped there in Japan and really liked their stuff.

xoxo

Lovely photos, the setting is perfect, especially with the colors in both your outfits! The top is great, I love the print on it and how it contrasts with your (awesome) purse. Very cute.

I so wish there was a uniqlo in Liverpool or one still in Manchester! I recently ordered some thermals from the website though, they have so many different choices for women’s thermals. Even thermal JEANS! I couldn’t believe it. I loved the orla kiely stuff and the cath kidston stuff they did a few months ago too.

There isn’t one in Edinburgh, and I don’t think Glasgow either, we got all our various bumph off the website too. And the delivery company totally stuffed it up. I wish places would stop using random private companies and just deliver with royal mail. But at least uniqlo customer services were good and dropped the delivery charge straight away, which is why I didn’t mention it. I also wish there was a shop!

I love the quirky mixture of pattern and color because you’re GOOD at it and I am not. (: I can’t imagine a.) being pregnant; b.) being 34 weeks pregnant; c.) walking up a freaking HILL at 34 weeks pregnant. You’re basically superwoman as far as I am concerned. (:

Your pictures are marvelous, nature never ceases to amaze me.
What a great way to begin a morning to work – with such a spectacle to watch as you walk-
I really like the outfit, specially the pattern mix – well played.
