Maternity style: Autumnal colours

autumn colours1
cat brooch 35 weeks
portrait autumn colours2

Week 35 and one week of work left. I wasn’t officially meant to finish up for another two weeks, but I’m so knackered all the time I’ve decided to use some of my annual leave to get an extra week. I cannot wait to put my feet up, do some creative things and recover some energy in preparation!

This is my attempt to frump up (or down?) the dress I wore to the wedding a month ago with a cardigan glasses and sensible shoes. And the same tights I always seem to wear these days. It definitely will be nice to get the rest of my clothes back! I’m really pleased with this outfit though, it mirrors the colours of the outside world, which still looks really autumnal, rather than wintery at this point. It’s very cold, but we’ve had loads of sunny days. Long may it continue!

Outfit stats:
* dress and cardie – maternity shop in Brussels * bag – theleatherstore on etsy * shoes – clarks * lea stein brooch – antique store in Rome while on honeymoon *

I’ve loved the sunshine too, even if it has been cold. I adore this outfit, the yellow and forest green is a lovely colour combo and I am all for sensible shoes. I hope you enjoy putting your feet up x

I can cope with cold as long as it’s bright, too. Lovely outfit and glad to hear you’re going to relax adn put your feet up, better for both of you. x

You’re a stunning pregnant lady. Pitch-perfect. I love that you continue your personal style through it and continue smiling. (Though I imagine you cease to smile for a few moments, now and again, while not under the camera. Perhaps while sleeping — but you seem like someone who does it the vast majority of the time). How’s the nursery coming along?

Looking lovely! I can’t see any frumpiness at all, it may be preggy paranoia!
It must be starting to take it’s toll, getting your feet up for a relax before the arrival sounds ideal!
