Maternity style: yellow and blue in week thirty two

yellow and blue
handknit scarf

It rhymes! This tshirt dress and cardigan combo is one of my fallback outfits at the moment, and I wanted to take a picture of it for comparison because I also showed this on the blog all the way back when I was 17 weeks pregnant and just have a miniscule bumpette, not the beachball like thing of now (these photos are week 32). Strangers (well, not complete strangers, mainly it’s been shop assistants serving me) keep asking me when I’m due now. I do appear to have put on weight in my face now as well, judging by these pictures. Oh well, it was nice not to while it lasted. Total weight gain at this point is just over 10 kilos.

The clip in hair extensions I acquired off a friend at a birthday party where the theme was to come dressed inspired by a song. She did McFly’s five colours in her hair and had toured round several claire’s accessories to get all the colour together. Dedication to the cause!

The lacey scarf is from the leftover stash of my now closed down etsy shop. I’d been holding on to things to give as presents but I figured I might as well start wearing stuff myself. You can see better pictures of the design here.

Outfit stats:
* dress – american apparel, I dyed it blue * cardigan – Brussels maternity boutique * scarf – I made it * shoes – converse * leggings -gumtree * bag – crumpler, it was a gift *

    I did not think of it until you mentioned it, but yes – the bump does look like a beach ball !
