Another ace upcycled bag from Dave! He made this nappy bag specially to fit the changing mat, and with all the compartments for the various bits and bobs. This is 100% upcycled, the material is an old pair of jeans and an old pair of cords, and the lining is the same thrifted sheet used to line my maternity coat. It doesn’t have buttons to close it because I never do those up anyway on my bags!

We took these photos on a walk with the buggy. We were exploring all the parks within walking distance, of which there are a lot, while we were both on parental leave. I quite like Dave’s outfit too, it’s bright after my own heart, so I made him pose for pictures as well as just photographing the bag. The coat is from uniqlo, it’s waterpreef and practical and still looks great, I really love it! The hat was knitted and felted by me, the gloves were a present from his sister and the shoes are quite new, he got them when we did the craft fair, they have a tweedy bit which you cant see here.

Now that’s what a nappy bag should look like!

Very clever use of upcycled materials in that bag!

I love Dave’s hat with that jacket. What can I say though, I love yellow. Very underappreciated color I think!
