Finally managed to get pictures of one of my long since completed knitting projects. This pattern was the first original design from Ivana, who I met in Brussels. She was looking for test knitters and although I don’t have a kindle, my mother in law does, so I played along. It knits up really fast and the colourwork is really straightforward. I didn’t do the best job of it, despite changing needle sizes, the colourwork section is far too tight, and looking at the photos it seems I’ve twisted a stitch somehow as well.

In the end it turned out she had a different sized kindle (with a keyboard) anyway, so it’s far too short. She liked it anyway, I think, but it only just covers the screen.

It’s a great pattern though, if you do it right!

You can find the pattern for free on Ravelry here.

Aw, it came out nice! Too bad the kindle size isn’t right! Who knew there were so many different sizes… 🙂
