rainy day

This was from a Sunday a couple of weeks ago. One of these weekends when it just rained and rained. When it briefly looked like it was easing up, we went out to check out the new farmers market that has started up near us and to go for a walk round holyrood part. It wasn’t much of a market to be honest, just six stalls. Plus it started raining really heavily, so that was the end of the park idea. But we did get some nice pictures in the posho area we walked through to get to the farmers market and discovered a cute little shop selling colourful refurbished furniture. Then we went home and camped out on the sofa with the paper.

Outfit stats:
dress – skunkfunk, I dyed it green * reversible vintage jacket – vintage shop * shoes – converse *

Beautiful pictures; I love how colors can pop on a grey rainy day. Sounds like a successful outing to me, if you and baby saw some bright and interesting things about town. Maybe the market will be bigger on a sunnier day, and when word gets out about it?
